Catering Planning
Our team of catering professionals is available to assist you with planning
every aspect of your event. Offering a variety of pre-established menus to fit
a wide range of budgets and tastes, including regional ingredients, local
favorites, and specialty items. When customized menus, setup or décor are
desired for your event, we will be happy to meet with you to create a plan for
your specific needs.
Our culinary professionals take great pride in using sustainable and local
foods to create fresh, healthy and delicious menus. While committed to
sustainable practices, we seek out the best possible seasonal ingredients.
Budget permitting, most menu items can be organic and/or sustainable. We make
ocean-friendly choices and are committed to sourcing 100% Marine Stewardship
Council or Best Aquaculture Practice certified seafood.

Event Planning Guidelines
Our goal is exceed your expectations by serving the freshest
seasonal food, beautifully displayed, and served professionally by our highly
trained staff as we strive to exceed the expectations of every single guest.
These guidelines will assist you through the planning process for a catered
event. We look forward to serving you!
Arranging
and Reserving Services
Even if the date or guest count of your event is only tentative,
please notify our catering sales office of your event so we can make
preliminary plans to ensure a memorable occasion. To serve you in the best
possible way, we request a minimum of 48 Business hours’ notice for any catering function to
guarantee your specific order and time otherwise “Chef Choice” when applicable
will apply. More notice, of course, is preferred. Any orders that are not
within the 48 Business hour notice should be followed up by a phone call to
ensure availability. Every effort will be made to accommodate you last minute
requests. A late charge of $25.00 will
apply for orders less than 48 hours’ notice.
Reserving
a Location and Date
Whether the event is to take place on or off site, you will need
to have a confirmed reservation and date for the venue location before we will
be able to make deliveries.
Payment
All catered functions must be secured by payment before they
occur. The preferred method of payment is a P-Card or a major credit card. Contact
the catering department if you require an exception for special accommodations
outside of our preferred payment method. There will be an applicable 7% local
sales tax added to all nonexempt customers. Organizations with tax exempt
status will be required to submit a copy of their Exemption Certificate at the
time of booking.
Changing
or Cancelling an Event
A 48 hour cancellation notice is required on all catering services
to avoid billing. An administrative charge of 25% of the event will be incurred
if cancelled within 48 hours, 50% of the event if cancelled within 24 hours,
and 100% if cancelled within 12 hours. All
cancellations or changes must be in writing and confirmed by the catering
department. If you move a catered event from one location to another, please
alert us as soon as possible so we are able to prepare. An administrative charge will apply if the
event has been set up and must be relocated.
Delivery and
Serviceware Fees
All services include disposable dishware and utensils. Prices are quoted with an anticipated
pickup. A flat rate delivery fee of $15
will apply for all events requiring drop off or setup. China service is available, starting at $5.99
per person depending on your event. Deliveries outside the business campus will
be subject to additional fees.
Service
Staff
Our business hours are 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Afternoon, evening, and
weekend functions are available with an additional charges. To ensure that your
event is a success, catering staff will be provided for all served meals. When
attendants are needed, services are at a rate of $30.00 amount per hour, per
server, with minimum of (2) hours. Chef
attendants are also available onsite for special events at a rate of $50.00 amount
per hour, per chef, with minimum of (2) hours.
Catering
Equipment
As the host of the catered event, you are responsible for the
equipment we have provided for the service of your catered event. All equipment
will be picked up by the end of the business day unless other arrangements are
needed. Any missing or damaged catering equipment or supplies will be charged
to your account at full replacement cost.
Floral
and Décor
While we maintain successful relationships with several local
florists we will be happy to order, receive, and handle arrangements for you.
For decorative requests, event specific plans can be made.
Linens
We will provide linens for food and beverage tables at no charge.
If you wish linen to be placed on guest tables for receptions, breaks, meeting
tables and boxed lunches, a $5.00 per linen charge would be assumed. Specialty
linen or linen upgrades are available for an additional charge, prices vary
dependent upon size or material requests.
Food
Removal Policy
Due to health regulations, it is the policy of Sodexo, that excess
food items from events cannot be removed from the event site. Items purchased
for pick up should be properly stored prior to the event and disposed of by the
host of the event. Due to safety concerns, we do not deliver hot food and
beverages to upper level areas that are not accessible by an elevator.
